I agree, I feel like they should’ve done more with the more discreet / mysterious elements of Jojo like hamon and fate or whatever they would call it.
There seems to be too much on stands and ‘who is the mysterious enemy stand user’ rather than ‘I have to use strange mysterious breathing magic to kill my flamboyant step-brother’ which obviously sounds zany as hell but even that is arguably better than loads of stands filler.

yeah definitely agree, idk why he just completely dropped hamon in part 3 like, i think joseph only mentions/uses it once ever, could have at least merged the two for people who could use both
also stands definitely are hit or miss
it starts out a little too pokemon-like
then devolves into “my stand power is i can stimulate your anus so everyone in a 5 mile radius shits themselves”

its been a while but it reminded me the hamon era really was great
