It’s true that I don’t comment/post/dwell on the site as much as you and other users who are more affected by Madware’s pestering so it’s hard for me to take a perspective look from your point of view.

I’m sympathetic to how it is annoying for somebody to constantly just pollute your posts with retardation but what I’m trying to get at is that banning somebody from the site for that is pretty overkill. Bans used to be reserved for actual users who proactively started forum wide arguments and were disruptive everytime they even spoke (One that comes to mind a couple years ago is AlienInvader) but Madware’s obviously some 10-13 year old kid infatuated with more edgy historical stuff.

My point is that it’d be better if there were some alternative means for dealing with this kind of stuff like the aforementioned forum mutes or restrictions, or #blockbutton 🙏 but at the end of the day it’s Ralph call if he wants to ban the person. It’d be understandable if they got a direct warning or several and still persisted, and they may already have idk.
