THE MINECRAFT MOVIE TRAILER IS OUT AND IT LOOKS SO FUCKING SHITTY.
I like the designs, like it definitely looks like IRL Minecraft. But holy fuck it contrasts so hard against the live action characters. JUST MAKE IT ANIMATED.
It also looks like its gonna be about “Real people gets trapped in a video game and has to escape.” trope of a plot.
Movie looks ass, acting is ass, diolouge is ass.
I’m not the type to gripe at a movie before it relases. Even for something that was as bad as recent marvel movies. I keep an open mind.

but like, whyd they make them trapped in a video game but then also act clueless of their surroundings like they werent playing Minecraft beforehand. if their goal is to leave then whats the point of the stronghold? is the stronghold gonna be their exit out of the game?
