Me and mom just went to court today to get notified when we have to pay our rent or vacate the premises.
WE GOT 5 DAYS TO PAY THE MONEY OR GET OUT.
While there, there was many other people who was getting evicted. I noticed that as each of the people got told when they need to go, no matter what the case was, good or bad, the Judge gave everyone 5 days regardless of what happened. The judge was meant to give a amount of time that fits the defendants needs.
Not just 5 days for everybody and call it a day.
Sorry I’m ranting, I’m so frustrated right now.
We have to be out by the 29th of March, the day RIGHT BEFORE my birthday.
I don’t know what I’m going to do.
I’m going to keep on trying but at this point what else is there to do?

Our landlord didn’t even show up he sent his assistant. The judge ended up finding out that our landlord as been ignoring our emails about us potentially being able to pay the rent with a local government charity and of course that didn’t sway his decision at all. He’s been ghosting the agents were working with completely.
UPDATE. The government program is willing to pay some of the rent meaning we have a LITTLE more time to get jobs and our jobs back together.
BUT
our manager is REFUSING to talk to the agents. We have been told he has received and read the emails by the agent and is actively refusing to take any action. If he continues to not accept the payment we will go homeless regardless.
He knows what he’s doing and it pisses me the fuck off. We have a way to pay him some and he don’t want money!?!?!?!?!?!
Although I don’t have any money (I have 1 cent in my account) I will share this with as much people as I can. Hopefully it will be enough
