Very interesting how people nowadays waste their time listening to podcasts and streamers, I almost never understand why.
Maybe there are some decent streamers, such as IShowSpeed.
But for the most part, garbage streamers Like HasanAbi and Vaush are pointless in the sense they bring nothing new to the table. They don’t even represent the case they fight for and are hypocrite, it is puzzling, are people simply undereducated?I tried to bring myself to watch these podcasts and they cringe me, they give me the image of some wannabe who tries to be someone they are not. Especially people like Sneako, Adin Ross and so on.
I am merely asking what valid reasons would anyone watch this content garbage.

And even the asmongold guy that I posted turns out to be one of these wannabe, a persona only characterized by being a nobody.

I dont watch streamers??? The only streams I ever really watched where the minecraft lives and the AI sponge back when that was hot,
I dont watch furry streams either, even though I’m a furry, furry media has always been mid to me
I listen to podcasts though, as background noise when I get tired of 90s alt and 70s metal

I appreciate you being honest, from what I have seen here so far, not many prefer to be honest.
My family member does love radio even though she has a phone, she’s playing a lot of stuff on that thing, but in my perspective, at least the thing she listen to are educational, what gen Z and gen Alpha listen to are brain slop content, these stuff can truly disintegrate one intelligence.

Streams and podcasts usually suck ass so I pretty much never watch either
Podcasts can be ok but only if they’re actually interesting and not an overpaid celebrity talking at a mic about something (The Hawk Tuah one is literally just that for example)
I once watched a podcast talking about our galaxy, and honestly I liked this guy way of speaking, I forgot his name but his information were correct and on spot.
I do believe my post might be interpreted as “All podcast are bad”, but the original message convey that most of them bring nothing new to the table, people love to learn, not talk about certain people life, everyone has a life

Hahahaha, now I sound hypocritical when I mentioned IshowSpeed, but I do admit, he is one I do admire for being true to his core, you can always read when someone feel like an asswip and one who does it because he can, but this is of course, subjective. 😅😅
I do think you misunderstood the post, do I think some music are bad and some are good? of course, but does that imply what’s being produced right now is quality? most songs made during this era, if not all, in my perspective aren’t good and don’t match up to 2010’s era.
My main question was, why do people enjoy it when nothing of value is said, with music it releases something, nobody listens to a song they don’t enjoy.
There are a lot of bad apples in this industry at our current age, doesn’t take a genius to figure that out, but there are also few good apples, sadly it’s overwhelmed by these bad apples.
Tdlr; everything is subjective, you can listen to what you want, but I will never understand why it’s popular with everyone.
Music wise, i think the best music was from 1960 to 2015, kinda like my view on cars. The golden age of the automobile was 1960 to 2015
Why? Because 2 of my favorite cars are the 1967 chevrolet impala and the 2015 honda accord. Kind of like how 2 of my favorite songs are megadeth – peace sells (but who’s buyin’?) And Taylor swift – shake it off.

You got a good taste in music and in cars, my favorite car has to be 1969 dodge charger, I just love its iconic design.
