Oh damn, your school has an orchestra? Wish mine had one, they only have band and choral to offer.. Also good on you for being ahead of class and learning at your own pace! I still have to work on my shifting, since I just recently been playing multiple songs with lots of it, and my aim is terrible. And yeah, that’s one way to describe vibrato lol.
May your wrist be at mercy. -

You’re right on the fact that the last note is D!
But yeah I can do vibrato. Its pretty fun, actually, really makes your performance sound 10x better (pretty sure that’s why I won gold in the first place, my competitor didn’t do any). Guess my tip is to keep your fingers light while doing them, but not to the point where your violin sounds whispy. You’ll get there, even I haven’t reached that super rich sound when professionals do them! -

YES I freaking love this channel, they make such good character design and animation analysis. I agree, Rock has a really simplistic design and yet its so effective when when you see it move, especially in a fast paced game like KOF. His animations also gives off so much of his character.

Agreed, at least pencil crayons gives you time to build up layers and lets you erase it. But in markers there’s basically no turning back.

Thanks! The sticker is for the last note of my piece. Normally you play the note on the A string, but the sheet music wants it played on the D string and the sticker just helps my aim.

I’m supposed to learn how to vibrato in school orchestra class (well, technically lessons) next year, but that’s too far away
people learn to shift from school in 7th grade, which I’m in right now, but learned it like 2 years ago by screwing around with my violin
huh, maybe that’s why I can shift hella easily
anyways, what I do for vibrato: make my left hand have a seizure
you think I’m kidding but I’m not
it actually works
for some reason

I hate coloring on a paper
Especially if it’s a Marker or Sharpie
