If you use it right ofc it can look good but people spam it on there animations that’s not helping them learn anything imo.

Actually I don’t agree I would agree with it was backwards super simple gestures you can use it to save time nor extreme scenes it could just make it looks dumb

Great love you are building hype now don’t overbuild the hype before people start thinking it’s cap. People I think are already expecting a game:/

Imma give a little me tips STOP relying on tween 50% or any percent

i feel targeted-

It depends on what you are trying to do.Something simple shouldn’t require it

Sometimes it’s kinda necessary though, like for a dive into a roll,if you use a tween fram just before the start of the roll combined with some stretch action, you’ll get a roll that looks alot better. It only looks dumb when you spam them

No

No. Any good animator would throw this post in a dumpster and light it on fire. It’s literally just a tool to help you out in animating. And people who throw it out have a much harder time with animation, not to mention how choppy it can get.

I disagree, Tween can be used to make animations more smooth, neat and fluid. An over-reliance of tween can be bad in some cases but you still use it, unless you’re some animation god.

I mean do you know how many people don’t use tween but aren’t animations gods, I mean in the adobe flash community we don’t use tween we want our unique shapes only use tween rarely and that’s for slack projects. Do your research!

🤨

Replying to:
That’s because in Flash you can draw your frames to make it smooth, but Stick Nodes is pivot rigged so it’s harder to do. Flash uses different animation types than Stick Nodes. You do your research!
-
Replying to:
Not only that, I was referring to the Stick Nodes app, not Flash. But anyway, tween shouldn’t just be a thrown away feature.
-
Replying to:
Never said it should be thrown away don’t try to feed words into my mouth that’s not a good thing to do to people smh!

Animation is animation last time I checked both styles require skill
-

It’s still animation, but it’s different types of animation. Think of it like this, A 2001 Honda Civic and a 2012 Toyota Camry are both cars, but they’re still different.
