Just finished watching a dozen World War II movies (Saving Private Ryan, Inglorious Basterds, etc.), and I’m in that “World War 2 was a global conflict that lasted from September 1st, 1939, with the invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany, and ended September 2nd, 1945, with the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki” mood.
