I’m planning on resuming my Pokemon series within the next few weeks, so do you have any suggestions for what type the next gym should be? I’m planning on adding the evil team and the main character’s travel companions in episode 3, and I also plan on having him take on the second gym. I’m also thinking about MAYBE having his Treecko evolve, but i’m not sure.

without looking it up
Treecko is like a gecko thing, and it’s powers are leaf-based
I bet I’m right
Treecko (Japanese: キモリ Kimori) is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III.
It evolves into Grovyle starting at level 16, which evolves into Sceptile starting at level 36.
Along with Torchic and Mudkip, Treecko is one of three starter Pokémon of Hoenn available at the beginning of Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire.
(Totally googled)
Well, yeah, I already know all that. Why wouldn’t I? Treecko evolves into my favorite Pokemon- Sceptile.

just destroy it with sheer bulk and might.
with some of the highest defence of all and a few mighty Heavy Slams and Giga Impact and that thing’ll be sent packing
Fair point. But you wanna hear a REDICULOUS true fact? Shuckle’s defense stat is the same as Mega Steelix and Mega Aggron’s.
User Banned
yeah but that’s Shuckle we’re talking about.
Exactly, a freaking like 1-foot tall rock-turtle thing has the same defense stat of a GIANT METAL SNAKE and GIANT METAL DINOSAUR.
User Banned
then you use a simple ass special attack move and it just disintegrates.
But then you realize it’s not over because Shuckle has Sturdy.
User Banned
then you do it again.
Fair point. But by then, Shuckle would’ve gotten out a Sticky Web or Steath Rock just because it’s a troll that’s used for set-up. Hell, I even use one in one of my competitive teams!
User Banned
i’d use a Golem then for that tasty sturdy.
my main set up though is the delightful ‘Rosebabe’ who i start off with sleep powder, then leech seed, then giga drain the s**t out of em’
Oh, if you think Roserade is a trolly set-up grass-type, you obviously haven’t seen my Shiny Trevenant in action. He single-handedly took out a MEGA LOPUNNY. And all he had to do was use Substitute, Leech Seed, Will-O-Wisp, and use its ability Harvest to continuously revive its Sitrus berry and heal.
User Banned
boi you ain’t seen Caramel in action then, MY Mega Lopunny. her Drain Punch just plows through everything in her path at rediculous speeds while gaining HP back every time, your Trevor would be K.O’d before a single seed was used.
Ahem…
Trevenant is Grass/GHOST type, meaning it’s immune to Fighting type moves, including Drain Punch.

S H I E T
well, i kit her with a Thunder Wave as well to paralyse in case that happens as well as Ice Fang.
User Banned
cause Dragons are annoying
Just like how the Trevenant is equipped with Will-O-Wisp, to cripple any physical attackers by burning them, hence cutting their attack stat in half.

Power-Up Punch.
suck it lad

“Suck it lad”.
User Banned
i realised, AFTER posting.
ah well, switching out is always a thing eh
True.
User Banned
do you have Pokemon Showdown?
I can’t even say that I KNOW what Pokemon Showdown is.
User Banned
alright, go on your PC and search up Pokemon Showdown.
download for free, make your team an 1 v 1 me fam
Oh wait, isn’t it that that one game where it had 3D sprites, but a 2D background, and the whole purpose is competitive battling?
User Banned
yes, but you can also have Gen 5 sprites if you want, they have custom sprites for gen 6+, Salazzle doesn’t look too good though.
I honestly prefer the 3D sprites, they add a lot more depth to battles, in my opinion.
User Banned
definitely
User Banned
MUH-FUGGIN’ FIIIYYYAAAAHHH!!!
Fire, huh? Okay. Not to be demanding, but could you develope the gym leader for me like you did with Amber?
User Banned
alright, Pyroclastic Badge?
Maybe something a little more simple, like…
Volcanic Badge, or Pyro Badge, orBurn Badge, ro soemthing like that.
or something*
(This happens when I try to type quickly)
User Banned
Pyroclastic, as in Pyroclastic flow, as in the literal scariest thing ever made by nature
Nah, the scariest thing made by nature is how angerfish breed.
User Banned
boi. it’s freaky for some ugly ass fish to be into BDSM but a cloud of searing, billowing ash as higher than a damn forest racing towards you at speeds faster than a train is just terrifying.
Alright, point taken. So what Pokemon should be in the gym? (Keep in mind they’ll only be at about levels 10-13)
User Banned
Slugma, Salandit and as the boss, Rapidash
Rapidash. Rapidash. AT LEVELS 10-13?! Ponyta evolves into Rapidash at level 40!
User Banned
boi don’t make me remind you of the Salazzle in the Fire trial in Sun/Moon
Yeah, but at least the Salazzle is reasonably close, since at that trial your Pokemon are like level 25, and Salandit evolves at level 33. A level 13 Rapidash is much more rediculous than that.
User Banned
well, a levelled down one could be more easy. plus it allows you to expand the story.
have him get beat, goes somewhere else to improve and maybe catch a new pokemon like a Magnemite, Aron or Magikarp or something, maybe runs into a person who tells him some plot stuff and then goes back to challenge the gym again, leaving the battle for the next episode. it’s bait, to keep the viewers coming back, something i’ve mastered through SNM.
I was planning on him losing the first time, since literally ALL of his current team is trash against Fire, and I also already have his entire team planned out for the series. Also, have you seen Episode 2? There’s a cliffhanger that is honestly pretty easy to decipher if you pay attention.
User Banned
i might have but totally forgot, they’re not the best animations and require adequate care.
I know, i’m not the greatest animator around. You for example, are MUCH better than I am, but just so you don’t have to re-watch the video, i’ll just quote the cliffhanger, since the main characters states it.
(Really quick, the character’s second Pokemon egg hatches at the end of the episode, just a heads-up)
“Huh, the Pokemon that hatched is a different color than its Pokedex picture. Eh, it’s probably no big deal.”
User Banned
oh yeah, i remember, he gets a Shiny. i remember getting a Shiny Chimchar in an Egg…
ON THE DAY I BOUGHT A F**KING ACTION REPLAY DAMMIT.
Yup. He ends up with a shiny, but just like Skorupi and Treecko, Fire destroys it. You’ll see what I mean when it comes out.
User Banned
Self-Destruct
What does “Self-Destruct” have to do with the Shiny?
User Banned
Shiny Graveller
User Banned
that or the shine was just a C4
Well, if you’re guessing that the shiny is a Graveler, you’re wrong. Graveler isn’t even weak to fire, also, here’s a hint.
The shiny form is blue instead of red.
User Banned
haven’t a clue
Do you want me to tell you what it is, do you want another hint, or do you want to wait for the episode?
User Banned
i’ll wait
Alright, that’s your call, not mine. So far, only 2 or my real friends know what the shiny is.
User Banned
i remember casually playing Pokemon Emerald on my DS Lite (absolute quality) at Costa with my parent’s friends who brought their kids. they wanted to play on it and i let
them, telling them to just run on a certain route and just kill a ton of Pokemon BUT if one is a different colour and has sparkles they MUST tell me. they agree and start doing the Pokemon equivalent of a holocaust.
i start continuing animating Episode 2 of SNM when i see them tug my shoulder, showing me the screen.
in just a few f**king minutes, these kids found a f**king Shiny Mightyena!
Wow, nice! That reminds me of the first full-odds shiny I ran into, in my Ultra Moon.
I was just looking though Ultra Wormholes, just trying to see what Pokemon spawn in them, and I and up in a yellow one. I go to the spot that the Pokemon spawns in, and just as the Pokemon appears, I make out the shape of a Medicham.
“Oh, it’s just a Medicham” I think, but when it fully appear on my screen, it’s blue. I can’t believe my eyes, start screaming, and quick ball it. His name is Jackie Chan, now.
User Banned
well, once you reach a certain threshold, Shinnies are almost guaranteed. i’ve got like 3 in a row from it, they’re completely pointless now.
User Banned
currently stuck trying to get an Azelf now bas**rd just won’t go in the damn ball
I’ve caught Azelf, the Pokemon that gave ME the most trouble catching it was Mewtwo.
User Banned
oh s**t, i forgot about him and his goddamn recover
Yeah, that AND the fact that his catch rate is already cancer.
User Banned
boi you ever tried catching Groudon and Kyogre in Emerald. THAT is true pain
It’s because they know Rest, isn’t it?
User Banned
yup. that and the fact that Gen 3 had extremely unfair catch rates
Up until ORAs that is, then they made Rayquaza STUPIDLY easy to catch. A friend of mine caught his in a PREMIER BALL, which has the same catch rate of a POKEBALL.
User Banned
i remember throwing an Ultra at Dialga on Diamond and getting it in one, first turn
I did the same thing, only on Yveltal in Pokemon Y.
You two have long @ss conversations
I agree.
