But like, what is “gonna happen to him”?

Like, he sets down his phone for five seconds to go get a sandwich and a bus with a nuclear bomb crashes into him, then he gets hit by an airplane which launches him into space and aliens probe his butt? Like, you need to get better at dealing with loss.

This kinda takes me back to all the times I’ve lost the people I love.

When I was in elementary school, I had three close friends. Nathan, Kyle, and Brandon. We were unstoppable. All sorts of obstacles came in our way, but our friendship would never relent. To be honest, with my household situations at the time, they were the only thing that kept me emotionally sane. But then, we got to fifth grade. When you’re in the last grade of a school, only one thing is on your mind; going to your new school. Everyone from my elementary school went to the same middle school if they weren’t moving away.

Except for me of course. And I wouldn’t even go to the same high school either.

It’s been nearly three years since I last spoke to my friends. I’ve felt alone for three years. I don’t know what happened to them. They don’t know what happened to me. I’ve dealt with this for years. I understand being afraid. I was a little scared too when I was going to leave them. But life always keeps going on. You meet other people, or maybe you just get used to being alone. I mean, you’re pretty lucky. You’re really charismatic, from what I know. Behind the screen, I suck at making friends. And it doesn’t help that I go to a school where everyone either wants to hurt you or use you. You’ll be fine. Life has a way of working out in the end.
