To narrow things down, just take it easy across the first few years that mean nothing aside from making friends etc. once things pick up get an idea for a career path and study the subjects relating along with a back-up career choice so maybe another subject to study for.

Regarding friendships they usually don’t last so don’t worry, look for someone who actually does care about you and that you relate to morally, not necessarily just by a video game you’ve both played etc.
