I would post a picture or something of the most American thing I know, but then I would get banned.Anyway, story time.
So last night there was a huge storm. Any of you living in the Midwest should know. There was lighting and stuff.So then at about 3:09-3:13 Am, a lighting bolt struck just outside our house. I don’t even know where. But it was very bright and very loud.
Like. LOUD. Like an entire bomb was blown up outside our house. Anyway, it woke most of us up and somehow ended up causing a power surge or something that ended up making the garage go up. So my parents woke up and went downstairs, but the alarm went off and it was stuck so it ended up doing it’s high pitched squealing.
Lady from 911 started talking from the alarm asking if everything was fine yata yata. Everything was fine. As explained below.Update: apparently there wasn’t a power surge. Apparently something in the garage door opener picked up on the lighting and ended up triggering it. Opening the garage.
