He loves playing video games, and creating gadgets. He had a pretty normal life, that is until October 15th where his life was changed forever. He was on a science tour at Mergus Robotics. He snuck off and went into a secret lab. There he saw a serum that was extracted from a spider labled TR-987. He was curious and wanted to see what it feels like. He didnt know even the tiniest physical contact would give him the full effects. It left a permanent burn on his right index finger. But little did he know that serum was being used to make an army of spider powered robots to slaughter the city..

It does because there are countless fan spider-man stories, animations etc. with the same premise and origin.
the only spiderman fan films i see (just stick nodes ones) is 3. but i may just be blind, but if i am, imma just list the differences

he lives with his parents
he lives in and alternate universe
he uses potions
he dosent have a red/blue suit
instead of oscorp, its mergus robotics
he lives in the future
he didnt get his powers by getting bitten by a spider
but if thats still “the same” then idk what to do
It comes pretty close, adding one difference in quantity or input towards getting an output doesn’t make it different.
Sinister six is still the same premise, bad guys bundle up to get spider-man.
I could list more but I don’t care that much, I’m just pointing out that you should be wary how much you keep to source material and how different you can make it.
Add some tragedy maybe or Spider-man has to be spider-man due to certain conditions rather than ‘haha spider cool, uncle dead’.

Tbh I like the new stuff like the nanobots but some of the “minor” changes seem kinda silly. Like Sinister Six into Sinister Seven, there’s not that much of a difference. But I still like the futuristic feel so doesn’t matter.
