Were you trying to add some shade where the hood is? Because instead of using a circle with a black gradient in the center you could do what Auto Angel did before with his Synthwave background and us trapezoids leading outwards with a progressive gradient and than you could get your hood gradient that you want.

Oh good tip thanks although I think it works better because it has a darker shade when it comes in like in real life (unless I got that wrong then well…..oof

In real life depending one where the light is coming from, the shade/shadow is going to be on the other side, for this case the light is most likely going to come from above therefore you will need to follow the instructions I gave you in order to create a successful shading effect.
