Test A-4 of a metal found in an abandoned coal mine located somewhere within north-east Ireland
A microscopic shards of the metal were injected into a prisoner of war from the Cersieance-Colombine war. He was told that it was a experimental vaccine for herceain (a neurodegenerative disease that can ramped within the South of Russia for 6 years)
After 1 your of exposure:
Subject describes themself as dizzy, they seem to have lost around 0.3 stone. Reaction time and muscle strength have been reduced by 6%After 4 hours:
Subject shows signs of joint damage, they have lost 3 to stone, bones have become more brittle and have begun following out. Muscles have shown weakness and the subject struggles to walk. After 16 hours:
Subject is pale, their skin has shown signs of decay, bones snap to the slightest push, almost entirely hollow. Blood has begun to leak from their pores, eyes, nose, lips and ears have completely rotted, subject cannot move. After 24 hours:
The subject’s body has completely decomposed, skeleton included. The metal has been named kercium (meaning reaper’s tear) and has been banned from manufacturing, further mining has been authorised but protective suits are mandatory.
Still figuring out what to do with this material, we request our allies input on this.

Hmm. Sounds like a bio weapon as this isn’t sounding like radiation. If you find bacterial or viral material this may be the cause. If not I’d like to have a 10 gram sample
After several tests we have found that it indeed was the metal causing these effects. A ban has been placed on the material within housing, manufacturing and agriculture districts.
Allright
If you can send 10 grams worth we can test it and see its other uses
Right, an armoured shipment has been sent
Thank you
We will relay our studies as soon as they bear results
Good
The war criminal was convicted of an attack on one of the steel factorys South of the mind kercium was found in.
Sounds kinda like SCP 096 in some parts
