Ruu grew up in a town that worshipped Ten, who was the first to weild the power of Yin & Yang. Ruu grew up travelling and dueling, aiming higher and higher to eventually fight this so-called “god” to achieve this power himself. Then he good impaled through the face by a malicious man named Scythe. Soon after, Ruu found himself in the afterlife, meeting Ten by mere coincidence. Ruu explained and admitted how he lived his life, then Ten offered a deal. Navuek could be ressurected as the second of two Yin-Yang sorcerers, only if he changes his ways and finds someone to pass his power to near the end of his second life. Only if Ten passes his power to one more person, his soul may rest in peace. So, Ruu accepted this, unknowingly into the future where the whole world knew Ten, and worshipped their dictator Scythe. Ruu changed his indentity to Navuek, and kept himself hidden to not seem to appear as Ten, the god. His goal is to murder Scythe and free the world from his shackles.

fun fact: his kwan dao (not a spear, technically) can turn into a sword. He can push up on the handle, clamping down the beginning and end parts of the handle in order to shrink the long middle part like a spring, triggering a built-in blade from the blade in kwan dao mode that measures twice as long, therefore shifting it into a sword. Ima post a picture for that later….
