Ya know… this would actually be a very interesting apocalypse… and terrifying.

Covid 19 has mutated. Infected humans have turned rabid. One bite or any blood contamination could spread the infection. However due to them being alive they still need water and food to survive. They hunt down smaller animals, unlucky humans and even other weaker or younger infected humans.

Days later almost every single animal on the planet gets infected with an unknown virus. When they die… they come back.. stronger, faster and deadlier. Their body continues to move even when the brain is destroyed. Even cut off limbs can move on their own. Humans and rabid humans stay away from the zombie animals. The virus is very toxic.
