the reason i was considering claws for a name is because they have a separate entity that plagues them, and “alter ego” it could be considered. I was planning to name this second character Claws and have the main one be Teeth (a play on some very old characters of mine), but I considered the idea that an animal usually uses its claws more for self-defense and regular tasks while its teeth are more often than not used for hunting and attacking. The second entity would be more offensive, while comparatively the main character is very timid and self-preserved
