so a bit of lore on the zombies

a ton of instincts still remain after infection, such as self preservation
the sun has ultraviolet rays in it, just enough to be fatal for the draugr if exposed for too long. so, they shield themselves with hats and other objects placed on their head.
slowly, the head evolves around the hat or mask, and after the course of twenty-five years its immovable, and acts as a shield for the most important part of a draugrs body, the head.
not only is it effective towards sunlight, but towards bullets too
