It’s pretty good. Wouldn’t say It’s better than the sonic movies in terms of plots or character development but I do believe it’s very faithful to the source material and as my mom would put it: Very cute
The even shorter version: It’s a cute movie that is funny and as a person who grew up more so with mario then sonic, I think It’s a decent adaption

Was the voice of Mario as bad as everyone says it was or was it good
It was all over the place, there were some parts you could clearly hear chris pratt, and other times he tried to sound like mario. But it was still alright nonetheless.
His voice has it’s moments but otherwise, It’s just pratt but I honestly don’t care since he was overall fine as mario
I agree as well, every movie has its flaws and the plumber movie is an example. To me, the plot moved by just a little bit too fast, since they wanted to cram in as many references as possible. But overall its a super good movie that everyone can enjoy.
