My little review of Quantumania

I watched Ant-Man & The Wasp Quantumania and…

What I want to say first is that I, along with a few others, were starting to feel the Marvel Fatigue but It didn’t start right after Endgame. It started with WandaVision, it was whatever. Falcon and Winter Soldier, it was alright and any What If..? episode not revolving around Ultron sucks absolute ass. The movies so far were doing fine for me… until now.

Quantumania is one of the first instances in a marvel movie where I did not laugh at any of the jokes, I literally only laughed occasionally at the things that weren’t jokes. Visually interesting? Yes. Interesting narratively or character-wise? Not really. All the heroes or support characters (or maybe just every character in Marvel nowadays in general) feel like they’re putting their blood, sweat and piss into trying to make you laugh and I seriously fucking refuse to believe MODOK is nothing more then a joke in any other marvel media because my god, I barely know him and even I think he’s been butchered to the brim. Someone, please tell me MODOK is cunning or not some jobber or literally anything that wasn’t how he was portrayed in this film. COME ON! TELL ME, PLEASE!

In Conclusion: Quantumania might not be the worst marvel movie or even the worst piece of marvel media BUT I was almost not interested in anything, the characters feel like they will fucking die if they can’t get at least one “humorous” quip into a singular form of dialogue and MODOK is… MODOK. You don’t gotta watch this and I don’t implore you to watch any current MCU Media except for No Way Home, Wakanda Forever, Multiverse of Madness and Loki…. That’s it.
