My "little" review about the MCU: Phase 1So yes, I have concluded my Infinity Saga marathon and boy was it a journey after all this time, only took a year or so… Anyways, lets get to it. It might take a bit of reading but lets be honest, some of you need to hit the books so buckle up and expand them fucking craniums
Iron Man 1, The Incredible Hulk, and Iron Man 2
Since I already reviewed these, I’m gonna make it very short.
Iron Man 1: Fantastic Film
The Incredible Hulk: Decent Films, I do wish Hulk remained as vicious as he was here throughout his pre-ragnorak run
Iron Man 2: Great Followup, probably one of the few people to still like it, retrospectively and otherwise
Now we get onto the next set of films.Thor
So how well does this live action take on Marvel’s take on the Norse God of Thunder hold up? Well, Its decent. A bit more interesting than Incredible Hulk in my opinion. Thor’s dynamic with Loki is memorable, Loki himself is a good enough villain all things considered, the relationship between Thor and Jane is serviceable, I like most of the characters except for Darcy… Fuck you darcy. CGI is good, OST isn’t anything too special and overall; Thor is a passable superhero film with a great lead characterCaptain America: The First Avenger
Now what about the first outing of the star spangled man with a plan? Great film. I love Evans portrayal of Steve Rogers, his dynamic with Bucky is good, the relationship between steve and peggy is very good (Hayley Atwell is hot, not gonna sugarcoat it), I adore the captain america theatre tour sequence, Red Skull as a villain is pretty one note but then again, he’s a nazi and you can’t go wrong with that. CGI is… a little wonky at times but hey, I can accept most of it. Its by no means what was to come a decade or so later… Overall; The First Avenger was a great film, love it and recommend it.The Avengers
Not much to say honestly, its the fucking Avengers. Love how the characters bounce off each other, Tony and Steve are highlights for me, the final act was glorious even if its pretty much Dark of the Moon but with superheroes, good OST, Loki is pretty well but with all this being said, I have a few critiques. Captain America’s suit is absolute ass in this film and not the good kind like Scarlett Johansson’s ass, its the bad kind like a raggedy hippos ass when it marks its territory, Clint is not much of a character and the first act is kinda ehh… Overall; Great! Take a shot for everytime I say great, see how well you doI don’t feel like typing anymore so I don’t know, go away

@anomalyalt15
He called Darcy bad
gasp
everyone is entitled to their own opinion but darcy was the best thing about that slander-of-norse-mythology movie
You’re fighting a losing battle if you hope modern stories to be mythically accurate. Especially in this case since the movie is based on comics which are inaccurate to begin with.
I was legitimately joking in this
i couldn’t give two shits about what stories do with mythology
but thank you for smearing your opinion onto this comment section
That was my mistake

WHY DO YOU TALK TO HIM MORE :SOB:
huh?
no seriously I’m confused
