In preparation for me actually animating this thing that has been in development hell since 2019, I broke out the old sound design skills to sharpen things a bit… I don’t want to use stock sounds forever. What better thing to make sound design for than a fight?
All sounds in the custom portion were recorded (poorly) by me, except for the stab/gore sounds. I did not wish to butcher rotting fruit with wrenches embedded in them for this audio test today.

His Lament spear, however, has been completely reworked. Because sword staffs are really neat and I love them.

2025 edition. Hmm.
Along with a lot of character redesigns, there will be several major lore (more like plot) reworks, mostly to make it more enjoyable and realistic for me to produce.

Nice, little sweet bits of lore with some other stuff thrown in would help be more digestible and might have more incentive to follow.
At least until bigger projects are made and you establish some story there, I would imagine those digestible lore bits with some art or something else thrown in would give the lore and ideas you have more traction. I’m sure the ideas are really good but you already know that unless there’s reason to, most people will choose not to read lore-dump posts.

2024 has been one of the toughest years for me yet. I got laid off right at the end of it as if it was a cosmic joke lol. Can’t say it was all too good, but it did lead to me discovering a lot of previously unknown (and mildly concerning) stuff about myself. Even the bad stuff has brought about good, so that’s nice.
2025 is going to be the year where my life fundamentally changes for the better (mostly leaving this icy hellhole of a state dubbed “Connecticut,”) so I openly welcome it, no matter how much trouble the next few months bring. I got so much more to look forward to lol, much happier times. -

Working on it still, I was focused on the rest of the main characters but it’s taken a back seat recently. Probably will release Ami and Geo in one submission soon since she’s next on the list.
