Oh boy, another lore dump!

The Blinded Eye
An event that helped shape Valkyria into what it is during this season.

The Blinded Eye was the result of two gods wanting to claim Tyxes territory for themselves. Jeika believed the Aquai belonged there, while Althen thought the same for his people. Though the two had a bitter rivalry since their own conceptions, they made a temporary truce to eliminate Tyxe and her empire.

The two knew that a Valkyries strongest weapon was the sun, for without it they cannot fly or replenish their essence energy which makes them so powerful. Jeika managed to nearly extinguish the sun itself using his water powers, while Althen kept the flames at bay with his wind. This resulted in near doom for the Valkyries of this world, including Tyxe herself. Tyxe managed to reignite the sun by using her Perfect Essence State. During this concentrated state, Tyxe takes on the form of a golden and burning eagle. She harnesses what little light the world had left and blasts the sun with an impossibly hot beam of essence energy, which finally, reignited the sun.

After this event Tyxe finally waged war on the two gods, and with the help of the humans and The Creator, Valkyria was purged from most Aquai and Althers. This conflict did result in another disaster, but that will be a post for another day.
