So, what, why tf are there choiristers or whatever their called near Hallownest?? (also how far r u into silksong)
Almost 100%
At the start of the game you can see envoys taking Hornet to pharloom. I always assumed they nabbed her somewhere on the surface of hallownest. Plus, she definitely put up a fight, so whatever choir members sent after her probably sustained many deaths (why else would there be only envoys left escorting her? They had sent a full chamber just to capture.)
Ghost and Hollow here find the signs of that conflict, including a commandment for her capture. I’m planning to have them
utterly destroyfight the choir members which get reanimated by silk.
