Turkey has rapidly become a leader in the development and production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in recent years, and is taking this claim to the next level by making significant progress in autonomous combat systems with the Anka-4.

Turkey says the Anka-4 UAV will fire hypersonic ballistic missiles
Norway’s defenses strengthen with the arrival of four K9 howitzers
Australia completes its F-35 fleet: 72 fighter jets ready for duty
Iran begins testing the unmanned Qaher-313 stealth fighter jet
The unmanned aerial vehicle, which is still in the concept phase, is expected to be not only an evolution of previous Anka models, but also a brand new weapon system with the potential to reshape the dynamics of modern warfare.

According to Turkish sources, the Anka-4 will be an advanced attack UAV that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) for autonomous missions, placing Turkey at the forefront of countries targeting the integration of AI into military technology.

Among the Anka-4’s key technical features is that it will be equipped with state-of-the-art ballistic missiles that can be integrated into unmanned aerial vehicle (UCAV) platforms. This will position Turkey as a major player in the development of new-generation high-speed offensive weapons.

According to Murat İkinci, general manager of Roketsan, which is responsible for most of the unmanned aerial vehicle’s armament, these missiles will be able to reach speeds far beyond the speed of sound and provide unprecedented accuracy and effectiveness in attacks. “We are integrating ballistic missiles into our UAVs that will provide significant speed and precision in attacks. This will be our Iron Claw,” İkinci explains.

Although the Anka-4 is still in the early stages of development, the project is expected to be of strategic importance to Turkey in the context of the increasing importance of unmanned aerial systems in modern conflicts. The Anka-4 is expected to serve as a “loyal wingman” to Türkiye’s fifth-generation fighter jet, the KAAN, which is also under development.

          Thought you meant visually

Also their roles are both extremely different

The SR-72 is a high-altitude spy UAV and from what I can tell isn’t supposed to be in any combat

Easiest way to contextualize the SR-72 is to remember it’s basically another SR-71 but unmanned this time

Dude this guy is a hero soldier who survived the Korean War by taking 14 bullets. He is known as the veteran who inspired the movie Rambo and saved the US 2nd Corps single-handedly in the Korean War. And like this, Turkish soldiers would do a good job of bayonet charges on the skirmish line instead of retreating when they ran out of ammunition like American or other allied soldiers in the Korean War.
