Well if you are using your proper gpu instead of the intergrated one, have a good laptop/pc, and have proper ventalation(fans not being converted by any surface like ground or such) it shouldn’t really lag.
Although you can expect to be using a potato pc and big running mods, it’s not happening

Who said Terraria was better on PC? Sure PC has mods but it’s much easier to play video games with a controller, that’s a fact

Not to mention better performance and graphics than most consoles (depends on the pc)

You can play with people on split screen on pc.
But I like console better for co-op.
I like both pc and console equally.
You can’t do split-screen on pc, that’s not a thing, and if it is a thing it’d be painful and unenjoyable

And I had a similar situation. I’ve always used console.
Like I had 5 consoles before getting a pc.
It was hard adapting, but I ended up adapting to keyboard and mouse (for the most part)
