He literally killed someone, almost killed reagent, and wounded 2 others, and yet everyone is so supportive of him and giving him tons of praise and forgiveness.

He was found not guilty by definition of insanity, and I believe he went to a psychiatric facility instead of prison (I believe)
But he got a little freedom after a while and eventually got released.
