Make it so when you copy a node and paste it, by default, it keeps the layering of the node it copied
It’s annoying to have a node in the front, and then you copy and paste it, and the pasted node is in the back. Or at least include an option to turn the feature I just suggested on and off

Also whenever you close the app or open control center on iOS the currently applied background image disappears (Both in Stickfigure Creation and Animation mode), is there any way to fix that?

Exactly, there is no guide to SN, if you know you know that’s it for the most part.
I feel like there should be a post pointing out little known useful features about the app
But no one would be able to make it as Ralph doesn’t tell us about any of the features!
I mean, the app has a unique little indicator for buttons that you can tap and hold to do useful things with them… It’s an icon of a hand pressing something, along with a clock – press down on the button for at least a little bit of time. Here are some examples:
