Manny's Realm Experience Day 2: A Conflicted Alliance and a Missing Dragon Egg

Hello everyone! Today was the second day of Biscuit’s Realm being in existence and a lot has happened today! So let’s get into it!

So first things’s first, I started creating my home today! (And ended up living, in a completely different house, but we’ll get to that :p). When getting gear and food I realized something, I had no permanent place of residence! Which was an issue, so I ended up taking a house design from a creative world on java and attempting to create it in the realm. There was one small issue, however. I had no spruce, an integral part of the design. So I attempted to find a spruce village, creating a path in case I ever need to visit it in the future. This was to not avail, however this very path, and the village I found during the journey, becomes very important later.

When Cheese Biscuit ended opening up his potion shop, I was intrigued so I went and bought a potion of the turtle master for him to help invest in his business and because I like turtles. I then saw a town across from him, which he created. Curious, I looked around and saw this nice, spacious, multi floor and nicely designed home which I liked. I ended up buying said home, and am paying it off in set payments.

The End Journey.
With my nice little home I realized something. Eventually, we’ll have to beat the game, and something gnawed on my mind. There is only one dragon egg per world, and I knew I wanted that dragon egg. However, I wouldn’t get it if I don’t get the end first. So I knew I had to beat the ender dragon soon, and started collecting obsidian for this plan. However, I knew I couldn’t do it alone, so I called upon former foe, Kingston, to help me with this task. We struck a deal, I get the dragon egg, he gets Elytra, so we put our plans into motion. I ended up using my accumulated obsidian from blacksmiths, and some I found from a ruined portal, to create a portal on the roof of my house. Kingston and I then became the first to venture into this treacherous territory.

We were originally going to find the stronghold first, but a warped forest caught our eye. After little luck with bartering, we decided to go farm for ender pearls there. After the death of my ally Kingston, he ended up setting up a respawn anchor (which he forgot to right click and ended up taking 3 attempts to get back to our nether base after dying). He also found out you can trap endermen in boats for easy kills, and I found out hiding in our base with our door open allows us to look at endermen, bait them in, and when they can’t get into our home, kill them risk free. Eventually, we ended up getting a total of 17 ender pearls, with one at home. Kingston then died again however, and lost his diamond gear. Disheartened, we ventured home, giving up on our fortress dreams u til we saw it, a nether fortress right smack dab in front of us in our path. Me and my makeshift geared ally then farmed the blazes for blaze powder, ventured home, and created our eyes of ender. Kingston then took a small break.

Some time later…
Kingston rejoins. Since the ender dragon is pretty easy (or so we thought…), we decided to only take iron gear with us to the stronghold, as well as a bunch of iron to keep in a chest in case we need to make new gear on the fly. We also brought one water bucket each. Only bringing 1 each was a mistake, which I will explain later.

Somewhat prepared and hearts full of hope, we threw the eyes and went onward. As we went on, it turns out the village I found on my spruce venture earlier, was the same village the stronghold was under. Furthermore, that same village had a path I made leading straight to it allowing easy access to the stronghold in the future without the need of coordinates. We eventually reached it and after much, much confusion after we couldn’t find it for some time even after using the eyes to direct us towards it, I stumbled across it, and Kingston stumbled across the portal room right after. After some quick selfies, we knew it was time, and jumped in.

The End Battle
This was it. The ender dragon. We grabbed our water buckets and went to work scaling the towers as the dragon hurled fireballs towards us (and missed every single one of them). All was going well, until Kingston died.

I didn’t pay much mine to these deaths since I was doing dandy until he made a haunting realization. The ender dragon actually destroyed his water source block, meaning he had to use the few blocks he brought to scale the towers. Thinking it wouldn’t happen to me, I brushed it off, until the dragon swooped down while I was on the ground while I was trying to ward off an angry enderman with water, and ate my water, and finished me off. With neither of us having much blocks, we decided to just attack the ender dragon anyway, and to our luck, he didn’t habe enough towers not destroyed to fully regenerate, meaning we can kill him without destroying every crystal. With this in mind, we whittled away his health with crit spam, finishing him off, and there it was

After teleporting to somewhere off bedrock, I place a torch underneath the block it was on, broke the block, and grabbed the egg.

While I was eager to leave and place my newfound dragon egg on my pedestal (one of the gold blocks I found from a ruined portal), Kingston didn’t leave just yet, wanting to get his elytra. He went into the end city area and asked me to retrieve some items for him, which I will end up not getting to since I had (and still have) a major problem on my hands.

I accidentally teleported the dragon egg, and lost it.

After searching for 20 minutes, and Kingston sacrificing his gear to come help. We could not find it. With me wanting to find my dragon egg, and Kingston wanting to find his elytra (whoch he needed my help for), tensions arose. After arguments and brief bloodshed, and a little bit of trolling, tensions were at a, all time high. Thankfully, we ended up ending said tensions, however, the dragon egg is still missing. Sad.
