I’m tired of hearing excuses and theories like “what if the megalodon lives in the mariana trench?!?! we’ve only discovered 1% of the ocean” like bro shut up
you’re telling me that a shark that is TWENTY METERS LARGE (aka TEN OF YOU TALL) is living in the Mariana Trench? Bruh the megalodon:
A: was a warm-water species
B: lived by shores and coastal areas
C: too large to adapt to the mariana
D: all of the aboveIf you said D, you were RIGHT! Literally nothing lives in the Mariana Trench besides crabs and snails (sometimes, if you’re lucky, a jellyfish). Now you’re gonna tell me that this TWNETY METER shark lives off these?
Not only would it not be able to live off these, it lived by the shore. BY THE SHORE. Reminder: the Mariana is NOWHERE NEAR land.
Also: the Mariana Trench is slightly above freezing on a good day. If the megalodon decided to live in the Mariana Trench, it would have to adapt so much to the point where it WASNT a shark.
It takes two seconds of googling to not sound dumb. Duh-doy.

Yes, they lived off those and cannibalism.
No they lived off of Zark Muckerberg’s lizard children
This is an oddly specific argument
