I’ve never felt a huge sadness from it, but I’d be lying if I’ve never been like “aww nooo..,” when a really cool character dies…, but AOT was my first anime. So I’m kind of desensitized to main characters dying

Edit: i think it happened in seven deadly sins, i would defend SDS cus if is a good anime, it’s just.. got too many problems with it
I wouldn’t say all terrible anime’s use it. I think it worked in Bleach when Ulquiorra killed Ichigo, cuz lore wise it made complete sense why he came back, it wasn’t just “Oh love interest didn’t want him to die”

Can’t say I’ve cried to any characters death, but Abbachios death really had me fucked up for like an hour, even if I knew it was coming

ngl narancias death was not as sad as abbachios
He was just hanging there and it looked silly, while abbachios was much more gruesome, ngl I did have a tear in my eye when bruno bit his lip because it really did show the sorrow and anger he felt
