to go fast and to deal some good early-game damage
when i get some more resources ill switch to a stone axe

Obviously the stone sword, not only is it a sword, but it is capable of doing 5 damage, it kills minecraft zombies in 4 hits. Minecraft zombies are much more powerful then regular zombies, as their flesh never decays or weakens since they seemingly were born that way. So it would take less then 4 hits to kill a zombie, and not to mention the reach of that thing. It has a very far reach, capable of hurting mobs even out of its physical length as seen in minecraft.
Not to mention it doesn’t matter how hard you swing, it’s damage is consistently. You can also enchant it with a random table with some books on it and exp, which you get from killing zombies.
