some people got the argument that rap isnt music because it isnt tonal, then what about drumming? the most tonality you’ll get out of drums are the toms, but it is still considered music because it has rhythm. rap is the same way, music doesnt need tonality to be music if it has rhythm

What I said was just me joking around, I didn’t actually mean it. I have nothing against rap, and enjoy some of the songs in the genre.
It may be music but it’s not good music
its all good if you dont like rap
