It could also just be your perspective on things as you grow older. Things the older generation of internet users thought scary may seem silly today while the older generation views what modern internet users think is scary as child’s play and a poor attempt at horror.
Once you grow up you don’t really have the perspective of a child anymore, and after learning more about the world and maturing it takes more to scare you then persay a 10 year old kid on the phone.

I totally agree with you. I mean, this takes audio from a battinton video (I think idk) and looking at his stuff, there’s a level of terror and horror to it that just not here
Our perception of horror is incredibly subjective, and when something becomes over saturated it’s difficult to let yourself be scared because you know the formula
