OH MY GOD THE CHEYENNE IS STILL ALIVE
okay so you all know im obsessed with GMT400s, and square body chevrolets, and because of that I learned that the silverado name started out as a trim level of the CK1500 in 1975, (along with other trim levels such as the cheyenne, the scottsdale, ect) APPARENTLY they didnt kill off those trims in the 90s because IN MEXICO YOU CAN STILL BY A BRAND NEW CHEVROLET CHEYENNE WTF WHY DOES MEXICO ALWAYS GET THE COOL TRUCKS
So upon doing more research, ive found that there is indeed a chevy cheyenne version of the silverado for every generation since the square body. GMT400, GMT800, GMT900, GMT K2XX, and GMT1XX (the current generation)
