Question of the day
My answer:
Let me tell you a tale, a tale of great tragedy and idiocy
Twas autumn of 2021, with the final leaves being plucked from the trees by the wind, and the people of Texas where going about there day, completely ignorant to the great storm that was to hit them in mid February. In mid February, the prophecy of weather (the NWS) issued a winter storm warning for the entirety of Texas. From the high rising fortresses of the DFW metroplex, to the dusty deserts of EL paso, to the pine trees of Texarkana, down to the shores of Galveston, no one was safe. Once the water froze, it was survival of the fittest. Millions had the electricity ripped from there utility lines by the cold, merciless hand of the clouds, with many having to take refuge within neighboring counties or even there metal carriages. The aftermath of the great freeze left hundreds dead and many more injured.
This great tragedy was known as… snowmageddon…
(TLDR: Not usually)

Well I mean look at the bright side, atleast my dad got the sport and not the touring, because if that car was the touring instead of the sport, I’d barely even look at the throttle pedal and that bitch would be outta there
(Context: the 2015 honda accord sport sedan comes equipped with a V-TEC I-4 paired to an automatic CVT transmission, the 2015 honda accord touring sedan (the highest end trim of the 2015 accord) comes equipped with a V-TEC V-6 paired to an 6 speed automatic transmission (no CVT, though the CVT is available for the 2015 honda accord touring)) (editors note: i forgot about the 2015 acura TLXs but just to mention, the 2013-2015 TLXs are basically honda accords on steroids. I’m talkin V-6, AWD, manual, the whole 9 yards. Oh yea and since acura is hondas luxury brand, they have more gizmos and doohickeys)
You said you had an older model nissan rogue right?
Who shit, sorry for the nerdy ass rant…

And just so there isn’t any more misunderstanding, the legal age to get a driver’s permit is 16 in TX, but a driver’s license is 18.
It wouldn’t hurt for me to start learning a few months before my 16th bday 🙃

So I done just drove a vehicle
(2015 honda accord sport sedan)
Honestly it’s way different then I expected, I thought it’d be like the games, where when you put it in gear and then use the throttle to move, I didn’t think the break would be involved unless you needed to stop
It’s actually: disengage parking break, put into reverse/drive with foot on break, then let off break slowly to get the automobile to move. Way different but kinda relaxing tbh (btw the car is equipped with a V-TEC I-4 paired with an automatic CVT transmission that supplies power to the front 2 wheels.)
And another thing, the throttle is VERY responsive, like, resting your foot on the pedal might startle the car. There where times where I was slowly lowering my foot on to the pedal and that honda was up and gone.Over all experience: 9 out of 10, was hell fun, I had the FM radio to dam quite and missed a damm queen song. Oh well, prolly for the better given that my dad was givin me tips.

You can get a Learner’s permit at 15 and a provisional driver’s license at 16.
Apparently my grandma was driving at 13 or 14 because she needed to take care of her mum
Also it was a different time back then, at that time, my dad’s mum was driving diesel rigs at like 10 to maintain that farm
Who cares.
i do because he lives in texas and i live in texas

you gotta get used to the pedal sensitivity, it also varies from car to car, even the brake sensitivity
i done almost gave myself whiplash when sometimes getting in a new car for the first time
Well I mean look at the bright side, atleast my dad got the sport and not the touring, because if that car was the touring instead of the sport, I’d barely even look at the throttle pedal and that bitch would be outta there
