If this doesn’t fix the American auto industry, then there will have to be some kind of reckoning. Whether it be from people just not buying new cars or what.
I kinda hate new trucks tbh, they are way to big. A 2025 chevy silverado HD3500s nose is taller then an 11 year old. Im not kidding, im pretty sure you could but an 11 year old kid back to bumper on a new chevy, and their head would be just under the “CHEVROLET” logo on the truck.
I always wanna do this when I see a new truck that isn’t a chevy Colorado or Toyota tacoma

Finally, Trump did something I can actually get behind.
So trump has apparently issued an order, calling on American automakers to produce smaller vehicles, which i think is much needed, because the regulations are decades out of date. Also, hes used honda motor company as an example of what the automobile in America should be. You know, not gargantuan, and not conplete shit.
Hopefully this government order can help some decency return to the auto industry. I just hope this leads to small trucks being allowed to have V8s again.
Make small trucks fast again.
Or just make small trucks again I guessIf this leads to a rebirth of the ramcharger, or the SVT lightning, or even the 454SS, I will be ecstatic

I wouldn\’t be suprized if my listening age is like… mid late 20s with the mix of 80s metal and 90s alt i listening to. Although idk if the classic country and modern rock i listen to would offset that.

Equivalent of screwing back on a gas jug cap after dumping the gasoline all over yourself
Plus it’ll help no one once the big wigs in the auto industry simply gift him a gold brick with his name on it and get exceptions killing off the competition that’s lagging behind on sucking up to him and leaving us with the same issue
Plus alongside stuff like emissions and raid infrastructure , and the current state of big fuckass trucks and suvs won’t change much regardless

Look, pennies are cool and all, but I care more about you know… getting these death chariots out of assembly lines. Or atleast hood height regulations.
