Okay, (Rant nerd warning)

So it has come to my attention that there is a game out there, a vr game, a job “simulator” game. I watched a video on it, and I have no clue where to even begin. Yes it looks fun, and I like vr because I can throw shit at things with no consequences, but this is just chaos.

So in this image you can see an engine bay of a motor vehicle from this game, first of all, there are BARELY any inline 3 cars on the market in North America, second of all, where’s the rest of the engine block? The head? The spark plugs? The fuel injection/carburetor? This thing has no way to prudence power. Third of all, it has a “battery” (a fucking potato cannot supply the required electricity to spark the spark plugs and power the interior luxuries) but the “battery” has literally no spark plugs to power. Plus I see no fuel lines, break lines, radiator, fan, literally everything that makes a car able to car.
Fourth of all, what kind of candy land pallas has a green, yellow red and what ever other colored motor??
Fith of all, replaceable round headlight housings havent been in production cars for literally 50 ~ 60 years.
Sixth of all, no car is shaped like that. The fuel efficiency on those cars has to be atrocious. But oh wait there are no fuel lines so this thing must get infinite MPG.
Seventh of all, some of the cars have square pistons, which if you tried to make a square piston in an ACTUAL petrol engine, it wouldn’t, work, or atleast be reliable. Pistons need seals on them, and these seals are rubber, there purpose is to keep the combustion chamber and the motor oil from interacting with eachother and burning oil. If your car has white smoke coming out of the exhaust, you are probably burning oil and need to get your piston seals replaced and motor oil changed.
Eighth of all, you do NOT want your exhaust being perged into the engine bay, that is an actual fire hazzard and could backfire. Literally. That’s why cars have exhaust manifolds, plus, having no manifold and just perging the exhaust into the bay is highly inefficient and will probably not pass emissions regulations. Plus if the exhaust gets into the AC/heating pump, that could be even more of a hazzard for your health.
Or maybe I’m a stupid bitch and these cars are running off of hopes, dreams, magic and wet farts. Oh well. (This is all in harmless fun, the devs are probably really nice folks who just wanted to make a cool game)
