(Rant warning) Yea well a car doesn’t have complex hydraulic joints and a external wiring system now does it? an automobile has smooth panels (easier to node) covering mechanical components that are nowhere near as visually complex as robotics.

Look at what it takes for a robot dog to move and look at what is takes for a 1950s general motors chassis to move.
