Anyway he was a 14 year old charged with the murder and rape of two 11 and 8 year old girls. He had an unfair trial and was executed by electric chair. They did a reexamination of his case in 2004 that proved that he was innocent.
My point is that the death penalty shouldn’t even be a thing, no matter what you “did”, because there’s always the chance that they could be falsely accused. Id rather a hundred criminals walk free if it means one man doesn’t go to a place he shouldn’t.
You realize in the USA you can drag out the death Penalty appeal out to 20 years.. 💀

I do think the death penalty should exist but only for people who they have hard evidence against. If they can’t 101% prove it was them then no death.
