Sorry it was 4am and I was extremely tired so I just wanted to see if people were active on here…
I made a pusheen cat stick figure, I’m new so it kinda sucks but that’s besides the point.
My son wants to be able to animate it to bounce or squish so to speak. Basically what I’m trying to do is be able to stretch the entire body of the cat in one motion. The only thing I have found is to use a stretchy segment but I would have to use multiple segments to create the oblong body and have it stretch the way I want it to.

Nah it makes sense. Thing might be tricky but can be done. There’s a feature called Smart-Stretch in Stickfigure Edit menu. To have it active, select non-static node and set it to stretchy, option to turn on smart stretch appears.
Smart stretch causes all static segments branching from it to shrink/extend when the smart-stretch node is changing length.
I recommend dividing the stick into body parts for easier animation. Torso is the one that needs smart stretch turned on, but so can some other body parts but that’s optional. Anyway here’s a sketch on how you can divide parts around.
With enough practice you’ll master the bounce lol

Basically similar to this gif https://images.app.goo.gl/G3MgVRBEysVUwenz8
I’m sorry if the explanation doesn’t make any sense I tried Lol.

That helps tremendously! Thank you so much!
Is there a way that you can make the node just stretch and not rotate?
Also is there a way to connect a node to a different node? Say I want to make a circle of nodes connecting them all in a loop.
