The plains are far out of reach, but danger lurks, a cliff and a family of smilodon, the mammoths walk down cautiously, bellowing at the group of Smilodon,the the 4 smilodons, 2 females and 2 male all roar and growl,
The male Mammoth loses his footing crashing down and crushing the dominant male smilodon in a matter of seconds!
The smilodon family backs away as the male mammoth struggles to get up, his tusk breaks off, he bellows louder, partly in pain, partly to scare away the smilodon..
The smilodon family retreat horrified, as the male mammoth finally gets back up, the mammoths see the dead smilodon

A long time ago…., in North America….. in early spring

A mating pair of wooly mammoths find a spot to eat and drink on a small mountain on the long journey back to the plains that they abandoned for the winter, as they feed, they are watched by a hungry female smilodon, but they pay no attention to it because they are much larger and can kill any smilodon foolish enough to attack, the male trumpets to notify other mammoths that this is their territory, for now.

An hour later… a cloud of fog sweeps the land, both mammoths are sent into a frenzy of trumpeting and trying to find each other, the smilodon tries to find her way out the fog, the male steps into the water and trips, as he tries to get back up, he realizes he is stuck, he struggles, after a minute he finally breaks free, the fog gets even thicker, then both Mammoths bump into each other, finally finding each other, they both lie down to take a rest, the smilodon wanders through the fog, loosing her footing on a cliff, falling to her death, her last roar is cut short as she hits the ground, eventually the fog clears and the mammoths stand back up and begin to continue the journey back to the plains.
