I\’ve been in a wierd situation recently
one of my bestest friends has recently became really different and I don\’t think I wanna be his friend anymore. he\’s became really anti-woke and is just a big asshole now, he always wants to be right, always says rude things in an attempt to start some sort of argument and he\’s honestly just delusional. I feel like he\’s looking on the wrong parts of the Internet and listening to the wrong people which is influencing him in a bad way. he uses loads of stupid terms like \”normie\” \”shill\” \”woke\” and crap like that, and will use it against people who like any big company, so if you like for example apple, he thinks you are a \”normie\” and that you \”follow the masses\” and don\’t get your own opinions (which is incredibly ironic). it\’s really stupid and it really annoys me, but you can\’t argue with these types of people because they won\’t listen, insult you and make you feel like you are in the wrong, or that they are a victim, and it\’s all fucking bullshit and they never learn. he is trapped in a rabbit hole and he won\’t change because he\’s gone too far into it.
my dad\’s had this kind of thing happen to two of his friends which means he\’s been helping me out alot right now which I\’m happy about because I would have just kept arguing with my friend and forgiving him otherwise. but now I\’ve had it with him, I don\’t see him as a good friend anymore and I just feel like I\’m being used.
what makes it hard as well is that I\’ve known him my whole life and we have actually been really good friends until now, but when I\’m constantly being called a normie or a shill for simply liking something, or constantly being In arguments where I\’m just being made fun of, I don\’t wanna talk to him anymore.
