gradient should’ve been controlled like a fuel mixture in a trabant 601 (and other 2 stroke engines)…lean mix makes the engine wears off faster while rich mix makes the engine the fuel consumption being higher…the optimal mix (probably 14:7:1 sort of) is the best….
