as many have noted, this website is basically “randomness”, so you can post that, it’s fine…but don’t do the sermon stuff where you post stuff that would be negative to users here
i don’t know if there’s explicitly “hateful” things you’ve posted, and i understand what you’re doing in terms of “spreading the word” and you mean well, I understand in an extremely tl;dr manner, gay=wrong with Christians, other people have to deal with that and not read it if they don’t want to
but the longform essay posts -are- a bit too much, and this is not the platform for it, so yeah, bible-verses are okay, and a few words about them, but don’t do the essay thing please
@jadee im sorry you took offense to what i said, but i stand by it
i have seen numerous occasions where you take an obvious lighthearted thing, and you’re ready to be upset over it – case in point my sigma-ban jokei also once said something like “im proud son” (or something, i don’t remember) and i saw you had replied “son?” or something thereabouts, ready and primed to do the pronoun-fight thing
i rolled my eyes and moved on then
again, that’s my advice to you when you see things you don’t agree with on the internetngl idk whats going on with @silenttalker and everyone and im not going through it all, but seems like he is flagging things for escalation, and people are taking that and escalating that, so it’s a vicious cycle
he is doing is job, once everyone has said their peace, there’s no need for thread after thread after thread about it, that’s the point of a rule against escalation/retaliation

he asked me a question “why are you here” and i told him that i come here to relax and calm down, get comfort
i told him my situation and he flagged that instantly, no time taken to read it or see why i may be acting so deranged
and along with that just flagging almost anything i say
and i also feel like hes very targeting towards me because i have some reputation

If I said anything specifically hateful, I’d like to know. To my knowledge, the only thing that happened is that I said that homosexuality is a sin, gave a good handful of verses that back up my claim, and answered anyone’s questions (whether they’re genuine questions, or just trying to start a fight, I try my best to clear up any questions). I never once said that homosexuality was an unforgivable sin, just THAT it is a sin. I never called members of the LGBTQ movement any names or said that they are all objectively going to burn in hell. The only thing that I can think of that I did that may have started all of this is that I said, “The LGBT community likely began with genuine confusion/concerns (What do we do if someone is born with both genitalia? etc.) and has now snowballed into what it is today. Just like every other “movement”, or whatever you want to call it, it’s become very toxic and intolerant (again, just like religious (including Christian) movements, equality movements, and any other movements)”. I also later had it brought to my attention that in the quoted text, the way I worded it sounded like I was saying that all LGBTQ members are toxic and intolerant and I apologized saying that that wasn’t my intention.
I honestly posted something, went to bed, saw some of the comments and responded to the ones that seemed like they needed my attention, went to work and whole thing blew up. I’m really sorry, I didn’t think it would turn into all of this.
Man, I just found a little post about bible verses, commented, and didn’t even expect it to all go down.
And, look, I’m not racist or homophobic or judgmental of any races or genders.
I will settle this diplomatically.
@jadee I am sorry I offended you in any sort of way, I just feel it isn’t right to go around and poke at me about it in in my comments and posts. If anything, I will admit I was partially wrong, and you need to admit the same. Your beliefs aren’t controversial, they are yours and I can’t change that.
Also, sorry about your personal problems. Loss is tough, and I haven’t experienced it in a while.

You’re what Christians should be. A pacifist that only wants to let people know about the word of the lord. Not trying to justify hate with verses in the Bible or to justify crimes with it as well.

I hate that people are beefing with you over you just sharing your Bible verses and offering help to those who need it.
And yes, Homosexuality is a sin, a lesser one. It has very little impact when it comes to judgement as all you’re doing is loving others just like Jesus told us to.
We humans sin all the time, hence why saying that homosexuality is a sin in this case is just to show what the Bible says about it. It doesn’t have a real impact onto a Christian.

As to Jade, you’re a kid. You can’t be messing with people all the time, stop responding to comments when you know it’s gonna stir up some drama. If you’ve got an issue with someone, inquire them out of where the issue has started.
You’ve done this multiple times and I’m just saying this for your own good, it would be terrible to see you begone for misunderstandings.

ill talk more about it later in my post, but when challas was flagging stuff he did this one thing
he said “why are you here” among other text, and i replied telling him that its a comfort, and telling him.every detail about my life that fucked up in the past 6 months, and he flagged it instantly, instead of trying to realize anything or care
when a mod is selected, i believe they would need mental and emotional stability during situations such as drama, and this just proves challas doesnt have that
i dont either, so i wouldnt be better, but yeah
