I do recommend overlapping nodes for unique shapes like the eyes , a bit more as you go further along
Like for my own figures that’s usually how I get my own zany and wild figures
Gives them a more layered look
Oh and shines/shading helps the armored look pop out a ton more
Gradients, my immortal weakness.
For gradients you either want them hugging a side (north south East or west) or middle ,
My characters all follow that principle whenever they do include gradients , think of it less like a segment and more like a “wash” of color
The absolutely terrifying part is those are stick figures. Hell I’m having a hard time believing what I’m seeing here. What’s your average node count?
