I don’t know what this style is but the transformation makes enough sense.
If you tween:
Having folding stretchy and thin nodes will mean when you need it you can quickly unfold it.
If you don’t tween:
You can use the same technique or add in different “stick figures” for the transformation, this doesn’t work with tweening because there is a quick noticeable flash which I hate, this technique is more useful but harder to pull off.
(Edit) I just searched up the weapon transformation, 1st of all I love it second of all folding works perfectly!
