I realized I spelt it wrong after it was too late… but the developers of the Zelda CDI games changed it from Rupees to Rubies.

The reference in question is to “Link: The Faces of Evil” for the CDI if my meory serves me well. That game changed the currency from Rupies to Rubies. Hence why I corrected “rupies” to rubies”

FoE and WoG changed Rupies to Rubies my guy
