The super weapon is expected to be finished soon. Meanwhile, an auction starts and the nation that bids highest gets a CA-2 Carrier class battleship, armed with a hanger for other ships, 5 double barreled photon cannons, and many more smaller laser cannons. If a nation bids high enough they will get a bigger CA-7 to CA-10 Super carrier complete with a nickname of their choice!
